NECC Partnering with ASG to Host Fall Semester Playoff LAN Event

The National Esports Collegiate Conference (NECC) announced today that is is partnering with All Systems Go Esports in Worcester, Massachusetts to host it's first-ever postseason LAN event. The event will take place December 3-4 and will feature Fall Playoff matches for the Valorant Challengers Northeast Conference and Rocket League Emergents Atlantic Conference.

Attendance for the two-day event is free of charge for momebers of the NECC community, including players, staff, and even family and friends of the teams!

"We're excited to be a host for one of the top conferences in collegiate esports," said ASG CEO and Founder Devin LaPlume. "This upcoming event is hopefully the first of many more to come."

"The opportunity to bring teams together to compete in person at a venue like ASG is really awesome and we think it'll be a great two days of NECC postseason action. To be able to offer in-person competition, as well as crown fall semester champions will be really cool. A huge thanks to ASG for their willingness to work together, and to our programs and schools for participating in the event."

Dates: Saturday, December 3 - Sunday, December 4, 2022
December 3rd - Valorant competition featuring both Semifinals and Finals matches 
December 4th - Rocket League competition

Transportation: The venue has a large parking lot behind the building (at the Shrewsbury Street Marketplace) where attendees can park, and there is also the Worcester train station less than a mile down the road for those taking the train in!

Details: This LAN event will be in place of the listed Fall Playoff matches for the Valorant Challengers Northeast Conference and Rocket League Emergents Atlantic Conference, with the matches instead being played on LAN at an epic venue with live broadcasts and an in-person trophy ceremony! Attendance for the entire event is free of charge for the NECC community (this includes players, staff, and even family and friends of the teams!), though the NECC will not be covering transportation/lodging/food for the event. While each title will only be competing on one day, attendees are welcome to attend both days to watch the competition, hang out, and make use of the venue free-play (when not being used by the active competitors of course).

All Systems Go also has amazing food and drinks which will be available for purchase afternoons and evenings on both days.
