The spring semester of competition for Project I is scheduled to begin next week and the NECC is currently working with 82 colleges representing six different conferences.

The National Esports Collegiate Conference (NECC) is proud to announce a new initiative in partnership with technology leader Extron: the creation of the Academic All-Conference honors.

The Missouri Valley Conference (MVC) is set to begin its second year of sponsoring esports competition among the conference’s members.

Today, the NECC is officially announcing College Apex Legends. A unified international collegiate championship with bids for partner conferences (announcements still to come). 

Kylie Welch, Director of Social Media for the NECC and the University of Central Florida, was recently honored at the Scholastic Esports Awards as she was recognized with the Social Media Excellence Award.

Registration for the 2025 spring semester of competition is now open 

In addition to the conference's Business Meeting, the NECC will be presenting two panels that are open to the public.
The Collegiate Fighting Games Conference (CFGC) and the National Esports Collegiate Conference (NECC) announced a joint-venture today in which the two entities will come together to host a series of fighting game events during the upcoming spring semester.
Today, the National Esports Collegiate Conference (NECC) released more information about its 2024-25 Nationals, including specific details on how to qualify and the reformatted point structure, as well as more information about the last chance qualifying tournaments that will be held.
