The National Esports Collegiate Conference (NECC) is proud to announce a new initiative in partnership with technology leader Extron: the creation of the Academic All-Conference honors. This award recognizes the outstanding academic achievements of NECC student-athletes.
To be eligible for Academic All-Conference honors, student-athletes must maintain a cumulative grade point average (GPA) of 3.2 or higher. The names of eligible student-athletes will be collected and published at the end of each academic year.
Extron, a leader in audiovisual technology, is supporting this initiative to encourage academic excellence alongside athletic achievement. With its commitment to advancing collegiate esports, Extron continues to play a pivotal role in promoting a healthy, balanced esports ecosystem.

After the conclusion of the spring semester, NECC staff will collaborate with program directors, coaches, and team liaisons to gather the names of student-athletes who meet the academic criteria.
The full list of Academic All-Conference honorees will be published annually following the completion of the spring semester.
