NECC Announces Partnership with eTeamSponsor to Help Programs Raise Money

MANSFIELD, Ma. - The National Esports Collegiate Conference (NECC) announced today that is partnering with eTeamSponsor to serve as the official fundraising platform of the conference. The NECC will work with eTeamSponsor to help provide member schools with the opportunity to help raise money for their programs.

"We are excited to partner with the NECC to support the rapid growth of esports and provide the needed help for these Student Athletes,” said eTeamSponsor's Chief Revenue Officer Lex Alekna.

Since 2010, eTeamSponsor has helped schools, teams and clubs raise over $165 million for critical needs including equipment, training, and travel. eTeamSponsor is an easy-to-use digital fundraising platform that allows your program to reach potential donors via email, text, and social media. The platform also allows you to customize your digital fundraising campaign with personalized messaging that raises 2-4x more than other more-traditional fundraisers.

One of the key reasons the NECC decided to partner with eTeamSponsor is because there are no upfront costs to use the platform for any program. Additionally, the NECC will not be taking any percentage of the money raised as it was important for the conference to ensure that the money raised by the schools went directly to the programs' budget.

"Since we began the NECC, we’ve been extremely proud to work with programs that have seven-figure budgets and those that have seven-dollar budgets," said NECC Commissioner Jacob VanRyn. "For those schools that have shared with our team some of the financial challenges that their program faces to compete and operate at the level they're working towards, we're excited to announce our partnership with eTeamSponsor. We appreciate the relationship with eTeamSponsor and that they are committed to supporting our programs and providing them with the necessary tools to raise money for whatever purpose they choose.

To take advantage of this partnership, schools can visit www.eteamsponsor.com/esports and fill out the information request form. An eTeamSponsor representative will then reach out to help you get started.

"I’d like to thank our NECC Partnership Subcommittee and our Advisory Committee for their hard work and feedback throughout this process. I’d also like to thank the eTeamSponsor team for their willingness to work together, continued VanRyn. "We’re excited to continue working with all of the programs we are fortunate enough to work with and supporting them any way we can to help them grow and develop."
