NECC Announces Partnership with Crit Apparel

Crit Apparel and the National Esports Collegiate Conference (NECC) are excited to announce a strategic partnership aimed at providing students and schools with access to apparel and merchandise services.

This dynamic collaboration is set to provide cost savings back to students, schools, and the NECC’s esports community at large.

The NECC recently began its fifth full year of competition. The Conference currently works with more than 500 schools and is proud to be a safe and positive home for the collegiate esports community.

Prioritizing Customization and Experience

Crit Apparel is an emerging leader in apparel manufacturing and production prioritizing customization and providing a streamlined experience for their customers. Their membership model revolutionizes the entire process from start-to-finish, allowing schools to manage their spending without having to process multiple unnecessary payments. Crit Apparel also is redefining what customization means; allowing schools to pick all parts of their finished product, including the fabric, cut, collars, venting, and more.

"We were tired of customization not really meaning customizable,” stated Thomas Waters, CEO and Founder of Crit Apparel, “Every person and program is different, so having a wide array of options is essential. Our goal is to be able to provide every school exactly what they need and are looking for within the budget and time constraints they are looking for.”

More Than Just Jerseys

One cornerstone of this partnership is that Crit Apparel will be providing access to their Pro Tier Membership (normally $149/Annual Value) for FREE to any school participating in the NECC. This package includes designs for a Jersey among other items and provides schools with an additional 5% off any internal orders.

“We’re excited to work with Crit and announce this collaborative effort today,” said NECC Commissioner/CEO Jacob VanRyn.

“We’ve been looking for an apparel partner for a long time and we’re confident that Crit is the right partner for us. Their commitment to the collegiate esports community is unparalleled and we’re excited to provide added benefits for our members as a result of this. Finally, I’d like to thank our NECC Partnerships Subcommittee for their efforts in helping make this partnership come to life.”

As part of this partnership, the NECC will be giving away 2 Legend Tier Memberships for Crit Apparel which includes more design and product options as well as 15% off internal orders.

Stay tuned for more updates as Crit Apparel and NECC work together to elevate the college esports through providing students and schools with unparalleled opportunities and resources.
