NECC Announces Additions to their Team

Today, the National Esports Collegiate Conference (NECC) is proud to announce the hiring of three new staff members either in new roles or newly-enhanced roles.

Tyler Beck, Tyler Pauly, and Kylie Welch have officially joined the NECC team.

Tyler Beck has officially been named the conference's Director of Conference Operations. Beck has worked with the NECC in a variety of roles each of the last three years.

Said Beck, "Being a part of the NECC the last three years has been amazing, and taking the next step into a full-time role to be able to support our players and partner conferences is incredibly exciting. I can't wait to start working with our community to elevate the competition and provide opportunities for our students and our programs."

Tyler Pauly joins the NECC in a more formal role after helping the conference continue to grow and develop during the 2024-25 academic year. Pauly, who will continue in his current role as the director of the esports program at Concordia, St. Paul, has been named the conference's Director of Member Services and Partnerships.

"I have been a supporter of the NECC since I started in collegiate esports and I'm thrilled to be able to enhance and grow the opportunities for all of our member schools through partnerships and support services," said Pauly.

Kylie Welch, who served in a similar role last year with the NECC, has officially been promoted to a full-time role as the conference's Director of Digital Media. She recently graduated from the University of Central Florida.

"I'm super excited to join the NECC on a full-time basis and am looking forward to expanding our social efforts and helping tell all the stories in our community,"

"Kylie, Tyler, and Tyler have already made us a significantly better organization," said NECC Commissioner Jacob VanRyn. "I'm excited to see what they're able to do going forward. I'm thrilled to have them with us in these roles."
