The National Esports Collegiate Conference (NECC) announced more information about its Super Smash Ultimate Tournament, which is scheduled to take place October 16-17. The NECC recently released more information about its upcoming schedule of tournaments in three additional game titles. The conference will be offering tournament-based play in Hearthstone, Madden, and Super Smash Bros Ultimate throughout the academic year. The NECC will be offering two tournaments in each of the three games each semester, and players that finish in the top two spots during each of those events will qualify and earn spots in the national championships at the end of the year.
The NECC will be awarding scholarship prizing to the best of the best following the year based on how players do in the National Championships. Additionally, each tournament winner will be awarded a trophy and other prizes.
The national championship prizing breakdown for each of the three games is below:
1st Place - $300
2nd Place - $150
3rd / 4th Place - $50
