LAKELAND, Wisc. - Former NFL All-Pro and current Lakeland University esports coach, Ahman Green and his charity, The Ahman Green Foundation, will host streams to raise funds for gaming charity Gamers Outreach. The goal of these charity streams is to raise money for Project “Go-Kart,” a Gamers Outreach initiative to raise money for mobile gaming kiosk to be deployed at local children’s hospital in Wisconsin.
Green will host multiple charity gaming streams during the week of July 12, playing games with fans, his subscribers, professional players, pro athletes, and celebrity friends.
Green and his program at Lakeland compete in the NECC, and one of Lakeland's players won the NECC's Madden Championship during the fall semester.
In addition, Green will be auctioning off signed merchandise during streams including signed footballs and other limited-edition memorabilia. The final stream on Twitch on Saturday, July 17 will see Ahman stream until the financial goal for the charity is reached.
