SCHOLASTIC ESPORTS AWARDS WEBSITE

The National Esports Collegiate Conference (NECC) announced today that it will be hosting the company's first-ever in-person business meeting and other sessions in Columbus, Ohio this coming January.

The meetings will take place at The Ohio State University from January 10-12.

The opportunity to meet in person will take place in conjunction with the Scholastic Esports Awards, which the NECC is proud to be partnering with in its first year of existence. The weekend-long event will feature leaders throughout the scholastic esports space coming together to growing and developing the space, as well as recognizing some of the best of the best on Saturday evening during the awards ceremony.

"We're excited to bring the members of our NECC community together," said NECC Commissioner / CEO Jacob VanRyn. "It will be great to gather in person to discuss important subjects not only pertaining specifically to how we continue to make the NECC better, but how we as an organization do a better job in supporting and servicing our member schools."

The tentative schedule for the weekend will look as such:

Friday - NECC Committee Meetings
Saturday - NECC Association-Wide Meeting as well as other panels featuring NECC partners and guest speakers

More specific information about the meetings, including meeting schedules and times, will be shared at a later date. The target for the release of that information is later this month and / or early November.
