LOS ANGELES, CA - Ray Dasher will be partnering up with the NECC and is thrilled to be involved in the league during the 2022-23 academic year.
The NECC is the go-to league for Collegiate Esports programs as it continuously supports its players and affiliates with the most professional attitude in the space. It also provides viewers with the best gaming experience while rooting for their favorite teams. The National Esports Collegiate Conference started back in 2020 with the participation of 36 schools and quickly grew its numbers to nearly 300+ schools. The NECC looks forward to becoming home for all collegiate gaming communities.
Ray Dasher is an eyewear company based out of Southern California that specializes in producing handmade eyewear in Greece. There is a wide range of products which include blue light glasses, polarized lenses, and fashion frames. They stand for providing timeless products that create a healthier space in everyday lives and activities.
Ray Dasher is extremely excited to extend this particular partnership with the NECC. This partnership would not have been possible without the dedicated hard work of St. Ambrose University (SAU) marketing student, and Esports professional, Michael Cheng. SAU Esports has been an active member of the NECC since the start, and Cheng helped facilitate this deal through his marketing internship with Ray Dasher.
“We are thrilled about this partnership with the NECC because we want to continue providing a healthier way to game in the Esports industry with our state-of-the-art blue light glasses. We want nothing more than to witness students and gamers around the world reap the benefits of a healthier workspace,” CEO Ray Shehabi said.
“When it comes to gaming eyewear gear, our goal is to be the official go-to eyewear company that students and gamers around the world turn to first. Hours of screen time can lead to long-term eye strain and sight damage. So, we take pride in alleviating that problem by providing handmade blue-blocking-lenses in the gaming space that actually work,” Shehabi continued. The Esports industry is growing at an accelerating rate and Ray Dasher believes they can make a positive impact in the Esports community and a difference in the way students’ game by supporting the longevity of Esports players.
"We're thrilled to partner with Ray Dasher," said NECC Commissioner Jacob VanRyn. "We're excited to work with them to provide our players and our community with exciting opportunities to improve their game play. What I'm most excited about is Ray Dasher's commitment to the collegiate esports community and supporting it in such a positive manner. A huge thank you to Ray, Michael, and Caleb Glube for collaborating on this effort to make it a reality."
