THIS VOTE HAS CONCLUDED

The National Esports Collegiate Conference (NECC) was recently nominated for The Top Collegiate Organization Award by the *gameHers. Additionally, Caroline Shaw, who oversees our NECC Game Managers and is an integral part of the conference, was nominated in the Rising Star: Best Intern category.

The voting for the awards runs from September 9 - September 23 and the direct link to vote on the awards can be found here -> thegamehers.com/vote

The annual awards ceremony celebrates and recognizes exceptional efforts by women and femme-identifying people in the industry and organizations devoted to supporting and championing those efforts. The awards will be announced in November during a live stream ceremony on the *gameHERS twitch channel which can be found at www.twitch.tv/thegamehers

"I'm so honored to have been nominated for a *gameHERS award," stated Shaw. "Esports is my passion, and I'm happy to know that I'm making a positive difference as a woman in the industry!"

"We're truly honored to be nominated for this award," said NECC Commissioner Jacob VanRyn. "Since we started the NECC, our top priority has been to serve our community the best way possible and provide a postive and inclusive space for all collegiate players. I'm also thrilled for Caroline on her nomination and not surprised at all that she was nominated. She truly is a rising star in the field and we're extremely lucky to have her on our team. We're humbled by the nomination and would like to thank the *gameHERS for their continuing efforts in this space."
